The opportunity

To build You as a responsible for a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi Energy involves leading and managing complex projects to ensure successful execution and delivery.

How youll make an impact

• Lead the project team establish the project execution approach and oversee project hand-over execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.

• Develop comprehensive project plans in collaboration with the Project Controls department encompassing scope budget schedule and risk management.

• Manage all aspects of project execution ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and best practices. This includes monitoring and controlling progress resources and financials.

• Monitor and control project financials overseeing project invoicing status cost expenses and cash flow. Identify qualify quantify and manage risks ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.

• Ensure consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements and coordinate procurement efforts.

• Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentor team members by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth.

• The focus of the role is to Develop and deploy improved Training management systems to track monitor and measure effectiveness of training courses. Alos Identify develop and manage a set of KPIs to measure effectiveness of training and development strategies and processes; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

• A bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

• Strong leadership skills excellent verbal and written communication analytical and problem-solving abilities and proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
