Job Description:
- Installing/configuring/maintaining of the user’s computer hardware/softwareand receive/deliver required hardware /software to /from users to ensure thesmooth running of their system.
- Support and problem identification and resolution:
- receive service requests establishes the nature of the problem and attempts toresolve the problem if it is software related and /or contact hardware vendorand arrange for transfer of such hardware if its hardware problem ensuringprompt response to users support calls and minimum time of fixing the problem.
- Provide all adequate IT support requirements whether remotely onsiteoffshore onshore or remote project offices.
User Account management:
- Assist user in resetting system password unlock account etc.
- •Printers and consumables:oPerform routine check for client printers report any hardware error to the vendor and follow up for toners/cartridges to all local and network printers as and when needed.
- Monitor the track of IT consumables/ toners and report the shortage items to IT supervisor to arrange for items procurement.
- •IT items dispatch forms Report:oPrepare and submit the monthly dispatch report to IT supervisor
oAdditonal Required Skills
- Hands on experience in Office 365 applications. (exchange online SharePoint onedrive and teams)
- Experience on network connectivity trouble shooting.
- English Fluent language good communication skills and ability to deal with supportcalls.
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Up-to-date technical knowledge and training
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
General Job-Related Information & Conditions
oSite visit to onshore and offshore locations to attend user requirements when and as required (overnight stay might be required)
oOfficial working hours are 8 for 5 days a week. However support team member must ensure the availability 24/7 to attend users request by phone remote access attend back to office or if required visit the onshore/offshore sites any time after working hoursWeekends or public holidays if required.
oMinimum Experience shall be 4 years preferred 2 years in similar oil/gas drilling team member must be fit to pass required medical and safety trainings to get the onshore/offshore access/travel passes
.oTransportation to and from onshore/offshore sites will be arrange by client. However other transportation to and from client offices shall be the support member paid overtime shall be pre-authorized and approved by client IT supervisor.
oSupport team member must have a Qatari ID residence to get access toonshore/offshore locations.
