Raffles the Red Sea located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj Saudi Arabia is seeking a talented and innovative Head Mixology to lead our world-class beverage program. As the Head Mixology you will be responsible for creating exceptional cocktail experiences managing bar operations and elevating our guests dining experiences through creative and expertly crafted beverages.
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus that showcase creativity and align with the hotels luxury brand
- Lead and mentor a team of mixologists ensuring high standards of service and product quality
- Oversee bar operations including inventory management cost control and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings
- Stay current with global mixology trends and incorporate them into our beverage offerings
- Conduct mixology training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Engage with guests to provide personalized cocktail experiences and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor laws and regulations
- Participate in special events and promotions to showcase the hotels mixology program
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Head Mixologist or similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end establishment
- Expert knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes techniques and trends
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with guests and staff effectively
- Proficiency in bar management software and inventory control systems
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Mixology certification or related culinary arts degree preferred
- Understanding of food and beverage pairing principles
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food and beverage industry
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
