Lifeguard

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team at a premier aquatic facility in Doha Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons in our swimming areas.

• Monitor swimming areas constantly to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergencies
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations in a courteous but firm manner
• Perform water rescues and provide first aid and CPR when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in and around the pool area
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Assist in maintaining proper chemical balance of pool water
• Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve lifesaving skills
• Educate patrons on water safety practices and pool rules
• Complete accurate reports for all incidents and rescues
• Assist with special events and swimming programs as needed

Qualifications :

• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred
• Current first aid and CPR certifications
• Excellent swimming abilities and physical fitness to perform water rescues
• Thorough knowledge of water safety regulations and emergency procedures
• Strong observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patrons and team members
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and rotating shifts
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous
• Minimum age of AGE years old
• Excellent vision and hearing capabilities (corrected vision acceptable)
• Familiarity with local water conditions and potential hazards in Doha Qatar is a plus
