This role will be focused on growing our own dark stores tMart in Oman which is the regions first dark store concept offering 20 -30 minute delivery of groceries.
Setting overall commercial and operations strategy (mission format positioning) and identifying new market opportunities setting targets for revenue and growth and formulating business strategies with platform.
Identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth such as partnerships collaborations and being responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Working closely with the marketing and growth team to develop strategies for acquiring and retaining customers. This may involve setting marketing campaigns analyzing customer clusters and optimizing marketing planning.
Accountable for enhancing customer experience in alignment with logistics and customer experience functions by evaluating the service quality and customer satisfaction.
Accountable for the companys P&L and managing budget planning monitoring expenses and ensuring that financial targets are met. Also work closely with the finance team to prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Accountable for day-to-day operations by implementing efficient processes and procedures. Involved in optimising workflows improving productivity and resolving operational issues.
Working closely with the product development team to define product roadmaps prioritise features and ensure that products are meeting customer needs and market demands.
- Identifying potential risks to the business and developing strategies to mitigate them. Also assessing market risks regulatory risks or operational risks that could impact the companys success.
Qualifications :
You have at least 10 years of experience in progressively responsible roles in consumer retail or CPG. Alternatively you might have worked in a consulting capacity in this industry and are looking forward to an operator role.
You have built teams and led cross-functional projects at scale.
Experience working within logistics and real estate is also advantageous.
You are very detail-oriented structured and know how to prioritise - you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.
You are willing to do anything necessary for the project to succeed including working on the warehouse floor when you are short-staffed to make a customer delivery or to take customer calls. No job is too insignificant no detail is too small for you.
You can interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
You are someone energised by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job.
You have excellent analytical and communication skills and always like to be hands-on.
Additionally you have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills. You can inspire several teams and stakeholders to rally behind a mission.
You have good connections within the CPG industry and authorities.
