Risk Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Engineer to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Risk Engineer you will play a crucial role in identifying assessing and mitigating potential risks across various projects and operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our organizations activities.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze potential hazards in industrial and construction environments
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses and enhance safety
• Perform on-site inspections and audits to evaluate compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Create detailed technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution
• Utilize risk assessment software and data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in risk data
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards local and international safety codes and best practices in risk engineering
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to improve safety management systems and processes
• Participate in project management activities related to risk control and loss prevention
• Contribute to the development and delivery of risk management training programs for employees

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical Mechanical Civil or related field)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk engineering or a related field
• Proven expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and safety management systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Proficiency in risk assessment software and data analysis tools
• Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills
• Experience in industrial or construction risk assessment
• Knowledge of industry standards regulations and risk transfer mechanisms
• Familiarity with local and international safety codes and standards
• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
• Willingness to travel for on-site inspections and audits as required
