The Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and managing warehouse operations across multiple sites ensuring efficient workflows inventory accuracy safety compliance and alignment with business goals. This role requires strong leadership strategic thinking and deep knowledge of warehouse systems and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to regional warehouse sites.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse performance cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Manage and monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy productivity labor efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align warehouse goals with overall business objectives.
- Evaluate and implement warehouse technologies and automation solutions.
- Oversee budgeting staffing plans and capital expenditures related to warehousing.
- Foster a culture of accountability safety operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing warehouse or distribution center operations preferably with multi-site leadership responsibilities.
- Successful track record in leading large teams and complex warehouse networks.
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems inventory control and warehouse automation.
- Excellent communication leadership and change management skills.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or a related field.
- Certifications such as CSCP CLTD or CPIM are a plus.
- Willingness to travel between warehouse sites as needed.
