الوصف الوظيفي
NN Rent a Car is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1 to 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate must be familiar with Odoo and Zoho platforms and will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Prior experience in the car rental industry is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and accounting reports.
Process invoices receipts payments and other accounting documents.
2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Assist in preparing budget forecasts and financial projections.
Reconcile discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
Support internal audits and external financial audits.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT and other tax declarations.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
Maintain proper documentation for all financial activities for audit purposes.
4. System & Software Utilization
Effectively use Odoo for accounting invoicing and reporting purposes.
Utilize Zoho Books/Zoho One for expense tracking analytics and financial automation.
Continuously optimize system workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
5. Industry-Specific Accounting (Car Rental)
Maintain accounting records related to fleet operations vehicle depreciation insurance and maintenance.
Process customer and corporate rental transactions in coordination with the operations team.
Monitor vehicle acquisition/disposal accounting procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
1 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
Proven experience working with Odoo and Zoho accounting platforms.
Strong understanding of Lebanese tax laws and financial reporting standards.
Previous experience in a car rental company is a strong plus.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
