Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer to join our growing team in Cairo Egypt. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cloud projects. As a Cloud Engineer you will play a vital role in designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the scalability reliability and security of our cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using various cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP etc.)
* Automate infrastructure deployments and management tasks using scripting and automation tools.
* Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance ensuring high availability and security.
* Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
* Contribute to the development of cloud architecture strategies and roadmaps.
* Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
* Document cloud infrastructure designs and configurations.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer working with major cloud providers.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts including IaaS PaaS and SaaS.
* Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible CloudFormation).
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
* Relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable.
