Could you be the full-time onsite EHS Officer in Jeddah SA were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your health and safety expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dedicated and proactive teammates. Youll ensure a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors during construction sites and projects. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Operations Project Management and Supply Chain) minimize impacts on the environment and much more.
Well look to you for:
Implementing and maintaining EHS policies and procedures
Inspecting equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
Investigating accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle workers compensation claims
Recommending solutions to issues improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
Reporting on health and safety awareness issues and statistics
Training and carrying out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
Conducting environmental audits and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
Conducting risk assessments and enforcing preventative measures
Protecting Alstom assets and reducing risks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes
Engaging with staff on a continuous basis to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility

Degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
Experience or understanding of EHS regulations and compliance
Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management practices
Familiarity with environmental and safety management systems

Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
Proactive problem-solving approach
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in EHS practices
