JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process providing support to the Talent Acquisition team and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. This role involves sourcing screening and interviewing candidates as well as coordinating with hiring managers to meet the organizations staffing needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions including job requisition approval job posting and candidate sourcing.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates including job boards social media and networking events.
  • Candidate Screening:
  • Review and evaluate resumes to determine candidate fit based on job specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Interview Coordination:
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare interview guides and provide necessary information to interview panels.
  • Offer Management:
  • Prepare job offers and ensure they are communicated effectively to candidates.
  • Manage pre-offer and formal offer processes including negotiations where applicable.
  • Onboarding Support:
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Guide new employees through orientation and help them acclimate to the organization.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
  • Provide timely updates on recruitment progress and candidate status.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and prepare reports on metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate sources.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and improve the hiring process.
  • Retention Strategy Support:
  • Assist in developing and implementing retention strategies at the specialist level focusing on employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from new hires during the onboarding process to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
