Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Endoscopy Specialist to lead and enhance the Endoscopy Services department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care managing clinical staff and driving operational efficiency aligned with key performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Endoscopy Service aligned with Spire KPIs ensuring efficient departmental operations.
Provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing a team.
Deliver effective patient care by offering both clinical and managerial leadership.
Maximize Endoscopy opportunities by converting inbound enquiries into bookings to drive revenue.
Identify and execute business growth strategies including competitor and price analysis.
Maintain and improve quality standards across the department.
Conduct departmental audits/reviews and implement action plans based on findings.
Champion innovative service delivery aligned with the 5 CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) to consistently aim for Good and Outstanding ratings.
Primary Skills:
Current NMC/HCPC registration (no restrictions or conditions).
Prior experience in Endoscopy and Theatre environments.
High standard of clinical practice with professional competence across clinical skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to manage complex cases.
Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience managing clinical audits.
Previous leadership or team management experience.
Ability to use evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality care.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
Valid NMC or HCPC registration.
Endoscopy and Theatre experience required.
Additional leadership or management training is a plus.
