The British Council in Jordan is seeking an Operation and Account Relations Officer to support the secure efficient and high-quality delivery of examinations across the country. This role is central to ensuring that exams are delivered in line with British Council and Examining Board standards while also contributing to the growth and success of the exams operation in Jordan.
You will be responsible for delivering exams to target audiences supporting the Exams Operations Manager in implementing growth plans and working closely with a team of 14 professionals to ensure seamless coordination and execution. A key part of your role will be to maintain excellent customer and client service throughout the examination process and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include managing pre- during- and post-test administration overseeing venue operations and ensuring the secure handling of confidential materials. You will also be expected to work with systems such as BOSS SRS and ORS to support exam delivery and reporting. As the point of contact for assigned schools and clients you will help implement value-added services manage feedback systems and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions and British Council-managed venues.
You will maintain accurate records prepare reports and support financial analysis and reporting. Risk and compliance are integral to this role requiring you to monitor adherence to child protection security financial and anti-fraud policies. You will supervise venue staff manage their performance and attendance and ensure their training and payments are handled appropriately.
Customer service is a key focus and you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth customer journey handling enquiries resolving complex issues and providing clear guidance on testing policies and procedures. Your ability to manage operational challenges and deliver a consistently high standard of service will be essential to the continued success of British Council examinations in Jordan.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum / Essential:
Minimum of 1 year work experience in operation management field
Proficient in English language
Arabic at Proficiency Level
University degree or equivalent
Desirable:
General knowledge of British Education and Examinations systems

Pay-grade: 4/H
Salary: 645 JOD gross/month additional benefits
Additional Requirements: The successful candidate must have a pre-existing right to live and work full time in Jordan.
