SW Engineer - Virtual Platforms, AWS Annapurna Labs

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

We are looking for talented Engineers to join our Virtual Platforms team.
Virtual platforms play a crucial role in accelerating the development process by enabling early Software development SystemLevel testing and architectural exploration without the constraints of physical prototypes.

As a Virtual Platform Engineer you will:
Develop accurate and efficient simulation models of hardware components
Create and maintain Virtual Platform environments for software development and systemlevel validation
Debug and optimize complex hardwaresoftware interactions

This role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset as youll frequently interact with various teams across AWS to deliver optimal solutions.

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Please include a grade sheet/academic transcript along with your CV in a single PDF when submitting your application
Knowledge of SW and programming languages and concepts (OOP OOD data structures)
Excellent problemsolving skills

Experience with software development using C/C
Knowledge of computer architecture (CPUs networking protocols)
Experience in modeling language such as SystemC
Experience with Virtual Platforms tools (Vista Virtualizer)
Verification experience is a big advantage (eRM VMM UVM)
