Backend Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks and strategies that ensure the robustness scalability and performance of backend services.

This position only accepts applications from candidates residing in Buenos Aires City Argentina.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks in Golang to validate backend services and APIs.
• Create execute and optimize automated test scripts covering functional integration performance and regression testing.
• Test RESTful APIs ensuring correct functionality error handling data validation and performance benchmarks.
• Validate distributed messaging systems including message flow reliability and fault tolerance.
• Work with NoSQL databases to test data integrity consistency and query performance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines ensuring continuous testing and early detection of issues.
• Monitor logs metrics and system behavior to proactively detect investigate and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers DevOps and QA engineers to align test strategies with system architecture and release goals.
• Contribute to test plans test cases and documentation ensuring test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
• Advocate for best practices in automation scalability and reliability continuously improving test efficiency and quality standards.

Requisitos

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Golang with the ability to write test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs including validation error handling and performance testing.
• Experience testing distributed messaging systems such as Kafka and/or NATS.
• Solid understanding and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra DynamoDB).
• Experience in integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze logs metrics and system behavior to identify issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
