Warehouse Leader
Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Warehouse Leader to oversee daily operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient receiving storage and dispatch of goods manage a team of warehouse staff and maintain high standards of inventory control and workplace safety.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping receiving storage and inventory control
Plan and coordinate workloads for warehouse staff to meet operational goals
Ensure proper stock rotation and maintain accurate inventory records
Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
Enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with logistics procurement and other internal teams to improve workflow
Train evaluate and coach warehouse team members
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree or diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
- 57 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 12 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
- Knowledge of lean warehouse practices or Six Sigma methodologies
Working Conditions
- Fulltime onsite role
- Physical activity required including lifting walking and standing for extended periods
