About the Role:
We are looking for an intellectually curious Backend Infrastructure Engineer who is passionate about code high performance and cares about quality. You will work with knowledgeable and experienced developers with a large scale of skills and capabilities who are passionate about developing an innovative product which makes an impact.
You will join a small mixed team of experienced and highly talented backend and cloud engineers and help us build great services for a product that actually saves lives by taking lead work with a variety of technologies and projects.
As a Backend Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for working on and maintaining the core of our backend infrastructure cloud infrastructure and data pipelines. You will set up and maintain backend infrastructure standards handle scale and performance issues implement security enforcements and remediation and use cloud infrastructure tools and technologies to solve some of the challenges.

Qualifications:
- 3 years of production experience as a Backend Engineer
- Functional Programming experience with at least one of Scala/Clojure/Lisp Must
- Experience with React NodeJs Advantage
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
- Experience with Docker building and deploying containers
- BSc in computer science or equivalent experience
- Handson experience working with distributed systems based on events streaming (Rabbit Kafka etc. Advantage
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools Advantage
- Independent fast learner and excited about learning new technologies
