Key Responsibilities
- Manages and establishes quality control guidelines and testing procedures to ensure product excellence.
- Ensures that raw materials and finished products comply with engineering standards product specifications and industry requirements.
- Continuously reviews monitors and improves quality control processes to maintain high standards of product reliability and performance.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional teams such as production R&D and engineering to implement quality solutions and drive consistency.
- Identifies potential risks in the production process and develops corrective and preventive actions to mitigate quality issues.
- Drive Global Quality initiatives throughout IMEA region manufacturing facilities and tollers.
- Drive Digital Transformation Strategy of the region quality in accordance with the Global Strategy.
- Define and deliver IMEA region quality strategy and effective management system
- Ensure quality systems are in place in use and effectively monitored to facilitate compliance with Ecolab Global Standards to enhance quality management through continuous improvement and to create a culture of accountability within the facilities in IMEA region.
- Investigate quality issues and failures lead Critical / Major Quality Incident Process and apply Corrective and Preventive Actions to prevent recurrence. Advice regarding CAPA necessary at plant quality level for items not under local control. Ensure that improvements to products and procedures can be identified and fixed.
Education / Work Experience
- Holds a degree in Chemistry Engineering Food Science or a related field with a strong chemistry foundation.
- For roles involving equipment plants a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of experience managing quality systems in fields such as manufacturing Quality Control or Research & Development (R&D).
- 10 years of experience managing quality systems is required with at least 3 years specifically in a related industry.
- Proven experience in implementing and improving quality systems leading audits and ensuring compliance with ISO and industry standards.
Strong leadership in managing teams providing training and driving a culture of quality within the organization.
Independence Level / Reports to
- Operates independently within established corporate guidelines demonstrating strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
- Acts as a key advisor to senior leadership on qualityrelated matters identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Reports directly to the IMEA Supply Chain Director ensuring alignment with overall organizational quality objectives.
