Giza Egypt (EG)
As Global Head of Finance and IT youllleadboth finance and IT functions globally providing strategic directionfinancial expertise and IT leadership to drive financial performance ensurecompliance and manage IT infrastructure and systems.
Duties for the finance executive will includeleading and supervising finance and accounting staff overseeing internalcontrols setting financial targets implementing fundraising strategiesdeveloping a financial strategy conducting feasibility studies monitoringexpenditure overseeing annual insurance monitoring cash flow evaluatinginvestments managing tax compliance and taking responsibilities over theFinance and IT systems.
Role Description:
You are expected to perform and be responsible for the following duties:
- Plan implement and manage the overall financial strategy.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Identify assess and mitigate financial risks including credit risk liquidity risk and operational risk
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Develop and manage annual and multiyear budgets that are adequate for the organizations needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts.
- Report and analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet income statement and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of yearend books for audit
- Define Implement and Enhance all the financial and accounting internal processes.
- Develop and implement IT strategies that support the companys business objectives including infrastructure applications and cybersecurity.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including hardware software and networks.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data implementing appropriate security measures and policies.
- Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring it is aligned with the companys financial goals.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Previous working experience as Manager/Director of Finance for at least 15 years preferably in multinational and IT/Software Development Organizations.
- MA/MBA in accounting finance or similar relevant field
- Thorough knowledge of corporate financial operations with global financial experience
- Hands on experience with MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP Odoo)
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
- Critical thinker and problemsolving skills
- Team player
- Good timemanagement skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of the English Language (French and German are plus)
