Costing Analyst

Job Description

• Participate in creating Cost System based on Standard Cost

• Handling all transactions related to inventory and costing cycle flow in conformity with Egyptian Accounting Standard Principles (EAS).

• Participate in calculating and adjusting sales price plan and preparation of related profitability scenarios.

• Monitoring inventory control for warehouse raw materials & finished products

• Calculating Letters of Credit Documents for raw materials and determining its cost and tax.

• Auditing & matching purchasing invoices of raw materials (Items, price, taxes,discount, P.O & document cycle).

• Auditing sales invoice of finished products (Items, price, taxes, discount, S.O & document cycle).

• Reviewing & controlling plant expenses (variable & fixed cost).

• Preparing cost variance analysis for all raw materials on monthly basis & YTD (quantity & price variance analysis).

• Preparing actual raw materials consumption on monthly basis & YTD.

• Preparing standard raw material consumption on monthly basis & YTD

• Preparing actual finished product valued at standard cost on monthly basis & YTD.

• Preparing actual finished product valued at actual cost on monthly basis & YTD.

• Preparing monthly actual finished product inventory valued at standard cost.

• Preparing monthly actual raw material and finished product inventory valued at actual cost

• Recording in accounting journal.
• Treatment with different types of taxes and its documents.
