VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Management Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Business Analytics Statistics or other relevant field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CDMP or PMP) are a plus.
Experience
3 years of experience in data management data governance analytics or business intelligence with a proven track record in managing data related projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the data governance policies and frameworks to enhance data integrity security and compliance in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain critical documentation including SOPs transformation logic metadata management and the business data glossary
- Work closely with Technology to design implement and enhance data warehouses ETL (Extract Transform Load) pipelines and analytics tools
- Performs regular data quality assessments to identify data anomalies or issues and collaborates with the Technology team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Technology to implement data validation cleansing and transformation processes.
- Implement data validation cleansing and anomaly detection processes in collaboration with Technology.
- Support data management projects led inhouse or in collaboration with thirdparty consultants or vendors ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee projects initiated by Technology in collaboration with Data Management ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategies.
- Work with business units to gather data requirements and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with Technology to refine and optimize data warehouses and integrated tools ensuring data quality governance and seamless integration with business processes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data management and analytics AI and governance frameworks integrating best practices into the organization.
- Assist in conducting training sessions on data literacy for internal teams.
