Position Title Contracts Manager

Job Purpose

The contract manager’s task is to ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts. This generally includes oversight of the contract management process as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission contract negotiations and document management. The contract manager’s role in the contract development process requires close collaboration with various departments project management account management business operations and finance. In addition the Contracts Manager also functions/ serves as the Client Representative in independently advising the executive management of Artan Holding about realistic project timelines providing project progress updates project cost escalations deviations corrective/ preemptive measures to be undertaken etc. with the aim of enabling the senior management in accurate decision making and completing projects as per the specified cost and timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare Technical and Financial proposals for EPCM Projects.

Request & review outsourced quotations from other consultants & contractors.

Prepare cost estimates for projects

Monitor & issue invoices to clients as per progress.

Prepare schedules for design & supervision.

Establish the KPIs of time budget and quality for all projects and monitor and ascertain that the established standards for the KPIs are met. Highlight to the HAI and Artan Management in case of concerns/ shortfalls.

Prepare BOQs schedules; review MEP BOQ & compile all documents for tendering.

Maintain cost control and prepare accounts statements.

Coordinate and follow up with the Technical Department Procurement Department and Legal Department to finalize contracts.

Ensure that documentation is complete and up to date.

Provide expert opinion to AH senior management for the construction phase of projects

Oversee and provide construction progress reports and HAI system and processes reports.

Knowledge

Wellversed in all construction methodologies and procedures.

Good knowledge of MS Office.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera.

A working knowledge of BIM – desirable) and design software AutoCAD Proven proficiency in project management techniques such as PMI/PMP.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Certified MMUP/UPDA Grade A is a plus.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in Contracts Management Cost Control and Planning.
