Operate and maintain vacuum sewer systems to ensure efficient wastewater transport minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
Conduct regular inspections of vacuum stations and collection tanks identifying signs of wear and potential failures before they escalate.
Perform routine maintenance on pumps valves and other machinery following established safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in real time utilizing diagnostic tools to maintain system integrity.
Document all maintenance activities inspections and repairs in detail ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement improvements to the vacuum sewer system.
Respond to emergency calls promptly assessing situations and executing appropriate remedial actions to restore service.
Train new operators on the proper use of equipment and safety practices fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
