Job Description
PPG Aerospace is hiring a Vacuum Technician to support our manufacturing site in Grand Prairie TX. This is an onsite position which will report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain all vacuum chambers for operations
Process vacuum chambers
Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Provide maintenance support for light repairs
Collaborate with the engineering team on new product development
Reduce cycle times
Perform in-depth diagnostic reviews of vacuum systems
Qualifications
Only U.S. Citizens Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
Candidates must have or be eligible to obtain top secret clearance.
Engineering degree preferred high school diploma required
5 years of industrial or mechanical experience
Experience with diagnostics for vacuum systems
