Leverage internal expertise for the design development and implementation of nontechnical career development programs and initiatives.
- Works with departmental Leads Line managers and employees in preparing and executing career development plans and other individual initiatives to support business needs and career agility.
- Develop and maintain a repository of nontechnical career development resources including training materials job aids eLeorning modules and other relevant content
- Collaborate with external vendors consultants and subject matter experts to Leverage external expertise and resources when needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technical career development initiatives through metrics and feedback.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees about nontechnical career development.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify relevant training and development opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessment for development initiatives and maintains alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Guide managers and employees in the creation of career development plans.
- Monitor and maintain the progress of active development plans.
- Schedule regular review meetings with development plan holders and his/her line manager and/or mentor.
- Collaborate with the Learning team to ensure that training courses align with development needs of the participants.
- Work closely with CD Specialist (Technical) to ensure develop Career Development Plans are comprehensive
- Maintain accurate records.
- Leverage expertise to contribute to broader function or department initiatives as identified by the Career Development Lead
Requirements
- 810 years extensive experience in related field.
- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. L&D Organizational Development or a technical discipline).
- A Masters degree is a plus.
- Certifications in psychometric tools MBTI Insights or Hogon will be an advantage
- Experience in Training Needs Analysis Nontechnical training design Training assessment
- Knowledgeable HR Systems and talent management software Learning management System (LMS) and other e Learning platforms.
- Project management and Data Analysis
- Career development and counselling. Strong organizational and project management abilities to plan coordinate and execute career development initiatives effectively.
- Psychometric assessments and Competency assessment mechanisms
- Organizational acumen Critical thinking and analysis
- Talent management and Adult Learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Effective presentation and business functioning
- Professional certifications related to career development coaching or training are desirable.
