Position Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and detailoriented Accounting and Operations Analyst to join our team. This multifaceted role combines financial analysis accounting oversight and backend operations management. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to simplify accounting and operational workflows
Key Responsibilities
Accounting AR/AP and compliance:
Oversee monthly quarterly and annual closing processes
Produce management reports and financial statements with actionable insights
Manage accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processes
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting
Manage yearend tax prep with accounting partner
Manage general compliance operations for company
Strategic Support:
Provide datadriven recommendations to support business growth and expansion plans
Collaborate with leadership to develop financial and operational strategies
Identify and implement costsaving measures across the organization
Proactively address potential issues before they impact the business
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field if the candidate has a relevant accounting certification such as a CPA.
35 years of experience in accounting ideally in an ecommerce supporting role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problemsolving mindset
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or bookkeeping software like Quickbooks.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with inventory management and logistics in an ecommerce setting
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced evolving environment
