We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to drive the quality assurance efforts for a dynamic Fintech project. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large QA teams across multiple projects ensuring the delivery of highquality software solutions in a fastpaced Agile environment. This role requires deep expertise in manual and automation testing with a strong ability to manage testing across multiple integrated systems. Direct communication with clients and remote vendor teams is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of more than 20 QA engineers across multiple projects ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Participate in refinement sessions to gain a deep understanding of all features and their business impact.
- Establish and maintain direct communication with clients and remote teams from different vendors to streamline QA efforts.
- Review and enhance the current Agile QA process ensuring efficient test execution and continuous improvement.
- Document QA processes test strategies tools usages and best practices to facilitate team alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Set up and maintain mobile automation frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Design implement and manage API automation frameworks to ensure robust backend testing.
- Oversee and enforce manual testing best practices for complex scenarios requiring human intervention.
- Conduct daily followup calls with clients and vendors to track UAT bugs and liaise with several PMs to ensure smooth and timely releases.
- Develop innovative testing strategies to address the challenges of multiple integrated systems.
- Work in a fastpaced environment adapting to evolving requirements and priorities.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage of the product
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 5 years in a QA Lead role.
- Strong background in manual testing processes and best practices.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing mobile test automation frameworks (Appium Espresso XCTest etc.).
- Handson expertise in API test automation using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams and vendors.
- Problemsolving mindset with the ability to innovate testing approaches in complex system integrations.
- Experience in SIT/UAT management and defect tracking.
- Experience in test management tools such as Zephyr Scale.
- Proficient in developing test cases using Gherkin syntax within a BDD framework.
- Fintech experience is a big plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within DevOps workflows.
- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.
