Category Manager Pesticide

KTI Talent Indicator is a talent discovery software platform with AI that offers: talent mapping assessment and reskilling services with training to companies. We are looking for a Category Manager to play a critical role in driving business success by strategically managing and developing a pesticide product category. This includes analyzing market trends understanding customer preferences and collaborating with various internal departments to maximize sales and profitability.

Location: Jakarta Indonesia

Functions

1. Develop category strategy in line with business objectives.
2. Conduct market research for growth opportunities.
3. Determine product assortment based on trends and preferences.
4. Collaborate with vendors for diverse product offerings.
5. Optimize inventory levels to meet demand efficiently.
6. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms.
7. Plan promotions and pricing strategies for sales goals.
8. Collaborate crossfunctionally for seamless execution.
9. Support product launches and marketing campaigns.
10. Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
2. Proven 57 years experience in category management product management or a related field especially in agriculture company.
3. Indepth understanding of the industry market trends and consumer behavior related to the pesticide product category.
4. Ability to think strategically and develop longterm plans for the growth and success of the assigned product category.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales supply chain and finance.
6. Familiarity with relevant technology including inventory management systems data analytics tools and other software used in category management
7. Should have professional workinglevel proficiency in English.
