• Design and develop REST API using Node.js
  
• Ensure a highly secure infrastructure and scalable architecture
  
• Contribute to design and improving servicebased architectures
  
• Work with thirdparty APIs and vendors
  
• Assist in leading guiding and mentoring of junior developers
  
• Work collaboratively with other engineers UX designers and Product Manager to drive high quality ontime deliverables
  
• Provide technical expertise and peer code reviews to other team members
  
• Assist in quality assurance process and customer issue resolution
  
• Assist in leading guiding and mentoring of junior developers
  
• Work in accordance with applicable policies processes and procedures constituting the company s Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes but is not limited to the organization s Information Security Policy Data Protection Policy Clean Desk & Screen Policy & Password Management Policy.
  

Requirements

• Experience indepth expertise in creating & managing RESTful APIs using Node.js (Nestjs)
  
• Experience of optimizing API performance by implementing caching mechanisms (Redis) optimizing database queries and minimizing latency.
  
• Experience of Implement rate limiting throttling and other techniques to ensure API scalability reliability and security.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Github Action)
  
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (AWS CDK Serverless Framework)
  
• Good experience in developing microservices using Node.js and other serverside technologies
  
• Good knowledge of Postgres database and ORM framework (Typeorm)
  
• Cloud knowledge and familiarity with AWS (ECS/Lambda)
  
• Knowledge of working in an Agile environment
  
• Experience with Identity Service Provider (Auth0 Cognito etc)
  
• Proficiency with version control (e.g.: GitHub) unit testing (TDD) and collaborative development
  
• Experience in developing modern web frontends using React or Angular would be a bonus
  
• Experience working with enterprise ATS/HRMS integration e.g.: SAP SuccessFactor Workday etc. would be a bonus
