David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company that is looking to recruit Lead Software Engineer (BackEnd) for their Lisbon office.

Position:Lead Software Engineer (BackEnd)

Location: hybrid remote inLisbon Portugal

Employment type: Fulltime

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage a team of backend developers providing guidance mentoring and technical leadership
• Architect design develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and implement robust and scalable solutions
• Drive best practices in software development code reviews and ensure high code quality standards
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• 10 years of handson experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture
• Experience in leading and managing technical teams
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
