SQL Data Analyst

The SQL Data Analyst will be integral in analyzing data flows and translating business requirements into actionable insights. This role requires a mastery of SQL and a keen ability to understand and visualize data to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and excellent problemsolving skills.

• Develop implement and optimize SQL database queries to meet the data needs of the organization.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and anomalies.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and document reporting requirements.
• Design develop and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.
• Perform data cleanup and transformation as required.
• Generate and deliver complex reports and recommendations based on analysis.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and tuning of SQL queries.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives.
• Educate and train colleagues on data analytic techniques and best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or related field.
• Proven experience as a data analyst or business data analyst particularly using SQL extensively.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.) databases (SQL etc.) programming (XML Javascript or ETL frameworks).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
