Key Skills Required:
Familiar with Over all Ground Solar PV Configurations and Floating Solar Projects. Able to
choose the right configuration / technology and ratings of plant capacity and its equipments
specific to project requirements.
Able to prepare Single line diagrams Technical specifications design calculations protection
schemes and drawings related to MV System and Substation Projects.
Familiar with physical engineering such as Equipment layouts cable routing Lighting
Lightning protection and earthing layouts.
Basic knowledge on power system analysis and reactive power compensations.
Knowledge on International standards such as IEC IEEE DIN BIS related to Electrical
equipments and system design.
Able to manage the Renewable Project independently in the role of Project Lead Engineer /
Project Manager.
Knowledge on Floating Solar offshore wind will have added advantage.
Technical Competencies:
Preparation of Equipment specifications.
Preparation of performance assessment procedures.
Review of vendor document and drawings for the Electrical Equipments and Inverters PV
Modules etc.
Knowledge on GIS and AC Substation layouts including its auxiliary building arrangements.
Knowledge of Electrical protection and control schemes.
Perform earthing design calculations and equipment sizing calculations.
Familiar with Electrical equipments like Power Transformers LV and MV cables HV
Substation Equipments.
Witness Factor acceptance test and Site Testing.
Review of O&M Manuals for the Renewable Projects.
