IT Logistics - Global Trade Management Architect

Job Summary

A top global technology manufacturer is looking for an IT Solution Architect with expertise in Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and Fusion Cloud. This leader will play a critical role in supporting our IT strategies and engaging in the ongoing transformation of our business with our internal and external partners. Fostering strong relationships with strategic internal partners is essential for success. This is both a functional and a technical role requiring the ability to handle complex situations in a dynamic environment as well as provide solid technical solutions as part of a transformation and modernization effort.

Job Responsibilities

Lead/drive Oracle (GTM) Cloud functional design technical design development and support in manufacturing and supply chain global trade processes.

Work with crossfunctional teams to implement integrated solutions across Fusion and WMS Cloud platforms as well as legacy eBS and other nonOracle applications.

Perform architect role on Oracle Cloud participating in all phases from envisioning and planning through execution and stabilization.

Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical development and make recommendations for improvement.

Assist in the identification analysis and resolution of major systems defects and bugs.

Develop and implement policies procedures and architectural controls to ensure that systems support the organizations business requirements and meet the needs of end users while minimizing customizations.

Define ERP technical and application architectures participate in detailed design development and testing phases.

Analyze data and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Leverage detailed knowledge of the underlying database tables integration points and technology processes to architect and deploy solutions.

Prioritize scope and negotiate time and effort requirements for project and enhancement demand pipeline while facilitating estimation of business benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience providing functional solutions architecting and implementing Oracle GTM cloud with integration to Oracle eBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Cloud solutioning and implementation experience preferred.

Solid understanding of Logistics and Trade business processes party and sanctioned party screening export compliance product classification shipping receiving and warehousing/distribution.

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Strong business acumen and understanding of ERP from both functional and implementation perspectives.

Polished communication skills enabling effective interactions with business and technical audiences with ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously in a fastpaced environment.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or Engineering; Masters or MBA degree is preferred

Experience in Semiconductor or Hightech industry preferred
