Production Operator

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for Production Operators to join them. You will report to the Technical Manager. And will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg VA.

To be considered for a Production Operator role heres what youll need to bring with you:

• HS diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.
• Quality conscious mechanical aptitude and good dexterity

As a Production Operator you will:

• Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation
• Correctly store clean and maintain tools equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals
• Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment
• Solder read from blueprints and use microscopes
• Complete paperwork required for each part accurately & legibly
• Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures. Quality History Tag Instructions or rework router
