Job Description: Mechanical CAD Engineer

Position Overview:

Main Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and systems.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop design concepts and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  
• Perform design calculations and analyses to validate the functionality and performance of designs.
  
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assist in procurement activities.
  
• Review and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
  
• Conduct design reviews and participate in team meetings to provide input and feedback on design concepts.
  
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards regulations and quality requirements.
  
• Support manufacturing processes by providing technical assistance and resolving designrelated issues.
  
• Continuously improve design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  
• Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design fundamentals.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication pressure vessel design process pipeline and machined components.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks and other relevant software.
  
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  
• Experience with design analysis and simulation tools (e.g. Finite Element Analysis).
  
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
  
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
