Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative
The Grounds Care Group carry out Grounds Maintenance fro multiple clients across the UK.
We are seeking a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative based in the Rugby / Coventry area to join our team from March October. You will be responsible for general grounds maintenance using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery.
You will need to be a team player and be comfortable working alongside others but also on your own.
It is likely that no two days will be the same as you will be covering grass cutting shrub bed and hedge maintenance leaf clearance planting turfing gritting and snow clearance.
Requirements
Essential skills required:
- Previous experience working in grounds maintenance
- PA1 / PA6
- A full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Be a team player and demonstrate initiative.
You will need to undertake a DBS check for this role and be prepared to work additional hours when required.

Benefits
Salary: 11.44 12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance Bonus

Key skills: Weed spraying and previous knowledge of Japanese knotweed and other invasive plants. Dynamic and able to move with the times within a fast-paced growing company. Innovative and forward thinking. Problem solver with proactive solutions. Show commercial awareness and are KPI driven. Capacity to multitask and think on your feet. Education, background, or experience in horticulture/agriculture. Good understanding of technology. Licence/Certification: Full driving licence (required). NPTC Card PA1 & PA6, herbicide spraying certificate (required). Willingness to travel: 100% (required) Work Location: On the road
