Job Description:

Position: Dermatologist

Location: Qatar

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat various skin conditions including but not limited to acne eczema psoriasis skin cancer and dermatitis.
   

2. Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their skin concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans.
   

3. Procedures: Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies cryotherapy laser therapy chemical peels and other surgical or nonsurgical interventions.
   

4. Prescriptions: Prescribe medications topical treatments and skincare regimens as necessary.
   

5. Patient Education: Educate patients on proper skincare practices preventive measures and lifestyle changes to maintain skin health.
   

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records of patient consultations treatments and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
   

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including primary care physicians oncologists and plastic surgeons to coordinate patient care and referrals.
   

8. Research: Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology research and incorporate evidencebased practices into clinical care.
   

Requirements

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
   

2. Completion of residency training in dermatology.
   

3. Board certification or eligibility for certification in dermatology.
   

4. Valid medical license to practice in Qatar.
   

5. Proven experience working as a dermatologist preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
   

6. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a keen attention to detail.
   

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient consultations and collaboration with colleagues.
   

8. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and respect cultural sensitivities.
   

9. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of advancements in dermatology.
   

Additional Requirements:

1. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
   

2. Familiarity with local healthcare regulations and standards in Qatar.
   

3. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
   

4. Strong ethical values and commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.
