Junior Estimator

We are recruiting for a Junior Estimator for a Company that transforms both commercial and residential landscapes playgrounds outdoor fitness equipment and skate parks for local authorities housebuilders and schools and more recently designing and installing Padel Tennis Courts for a variety of clients.

As the Junior Estimator you will be joining a small team and with training and support will be responsible for quantifying designs and estimating the associated costs for a variety of landscape play area outdoor fitness skate park and padel tennis court designs.

Daily you will be:

• Reading detailed technical plans and calculating the associated costs.
  
• Creating detailed and competitive quotes that are both costefficient and meet with the client requirements.
  
• Regularly sourcing monitoring and updating product installation plant and equipment costs.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position you will need:

• Ideally a minimum of one year s estimating / costing / quoting experience.
  
• To demonstrate that you are proficient in Microsoft Office and in particular Excel.
  
• Ideally (but not essential) some knowledge AutoCAD or similar software packages.
  
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
  
• An excellent level of attention to detail.
  
• A driving licence to enable you to travel between the companies two locations and to visit clients and sites as needed.

On offer is a salary of between 18000 and 24000 and the opportunity to continue to develop within estimating allowing for career progression as you gain more experience and the team grows.
