About the Job:

As a Quality Engineer you will work closely with the Senior Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving product quality issues collaborating with various teams and supporting the implementation of problemsolving techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D:2016 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Support the identification and resolution of product quality issues.
• Assist in collaborating with customers and engineering personnel to determine root causes and generate action plans.
• Aid in reviewing customer requirements Quality Notes (Q Notes) and communicating exceptional notes to relevant departments.
• Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
• Support the use of problemsolving techniques to address quality issues.
• Assist in generating AS9102 reports for complex assemblies.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Support the PPM improvement plan for strategic customers.
• Assist in applying statistical techniques to identify product and process issues and trends.
• Participate in quality reporting and management review processes.
• Interact with customers suppliers and contract manufacturers as directed.
• Assist in supplier qualifications as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Quality Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Electrical Quality Systems Management) or related field.
• Knowledge or experience in AS9100 QMS is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering processes.
• Familiarity with the electronics/electromechanical industry is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Initiative and proactive approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
