Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record financial transactions, including income, expenses, and adjustments.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
5. Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns.
- Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.
6. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
7. Communication:
- Communicate financial information to relevant stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data.
8. Software Proficiency:
- Utilize accounting software (Tally) and tools effectively for record-keeping and reporting.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting software and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
