Tasks

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Java/Kotlin and Objective C/Swift .Net and C#.
• Collaborate in crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Work as a strong individual contributor and as part of a mixed skill agile team
• Ensure that all features are robust secure scalable and well documented.
• Work with hardware integrations like barcode scanners cameras printers and payment terminals.
• Participate in and occasionally facilitate relevant SCRUM events including feature refinement estimation daily standups and retrospectives.
• Provide technical mentoring to other engineers.

Requirements

• 5 Years of experience of proven track record as Software engineer
• Proven experience with Java/Kotlin Android development.
• Proven experience with Objective C/Swift iOS development.
• Proven experience with .Net and C# desktop application development (plus)
• Proven experience of using WebViews to display Web applications.
• A solid understanding of the deployment lifecycle for both Android Play Store iOS App Store and Windows app store
• Experience with hardware via USB Bluetooth and Ethernet.
• A good understanding of best practices for dealing with technical debt.
• A good sense of best practices and what makes clean written and maintainable code.
• Ability and desire to technically mentor other engineers.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and software tools (we use Jira Bitbucket Confluence).
• Fluent in English.
