Health and Safety Manager - Plant Safety

A leading global company in the hygiene and health sector is offering a dynamic and challenging role for an individual eager to apply their skills energy and creativity. The company is seeking a Safety Manager (RESH Manager) for its facilities in Falkenberg and Mlnlycke.

We are open for candidates who are willing to relocate from other parts of Sweden :)

At the Falkenberg facility which employs around 400 people there is a focus on modernity hightech equipment and ongoing technology development and upgrades. This site primarily produces diapers and incontinence products for the Central and Eastern European markets.

The Mlnlycke facility with a workforce of about 40 specializes in products such as washing gloves soft wet wipes hygiene sheets tissue.

The Safety Manager position will be based in Falkenberg and will involve being a part of the management teams for both the Falkenberg and Mlnlycke sites. The role includes reporting to the Site Manager and overseeing a team of 3.

About the Role:

This is a fulltime permanent position. Located in Falkenberg. Fully on site.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing implementing monitoring and communicating safety plans and objectives.
• Providing leadership and support to managers in upholding safety health and environmental standards and procedures.
• Planning and conducting training to maintain a high level of safety knowledge among all factory employees and managers.
• Leading accident and incident investigations and risk assessments related to work processes and machine safety.
• Managing crisis preparedness and emergency planning.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
• Actively participating in departmental meetings.
• Maintaining uptodate documentation on security systems and processes in line with company standards.
• Involvement in safety aspects of projects and changes.
• Handling authority reporting related to work and external environments.
• Leading and prioritizing the RESH departments activities.
• As a member of the factory management team contributing to the overall factory results and ensuring effective management and resources for maintaining high safety standards.

The ideal candidate is serviceoriented organized and communicative thriving in a fastpaced environment with multiple responsibilities. You should be a security role model with excellent collaborative and prioritization skills. High social competence decisionmaking ability and leadership qualities are essential. Proficiency in work environment management risk management (Loss Prevention) and crisis management is expected.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic education or equivalent work experience.
• Proven leadership experience at a senior level.
• Experience in security work incident investigation and risk assessment.
• Fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written.
