Job Description:
As a med level QA Engineer at Alawneh Pay, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with our development and product teams to design and execute comprehensive test strategies, with a particular focus on automation testing and performance testing. Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software that exceeds our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks to ensure efficient and thorough test coverage.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing and ad-hoc testing to identify critical issues.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data sets that align with project requirements.
- Performance Testing: Design and execute performance and stress testing to evaluate system scalability, stability, and responsiveness.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools. Work closely with developers to facilitate timely issue resolution.
- Test Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the QA process.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, sharing your expertise and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and stress testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
