Role: Accounts Assistant- Part-/time
Location : York Road, Dunlaoghaire, Co Dublin
Days/Hours of Work: Wed, Thurs and Friday 9am to 5pm
Our Client is seeking a Part-time Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are a family run Building Contractors that have been in the industry over 50 years, with projects extending from large scale residential developments to industrial and commercial projects.
Job Description: You will be employed primarily in the Accounts Department working closely with our Senior Account Clerk, Directors and Managers of the Company. Your Contract with the Company will be part time, 3 days per week but this could increase to 4 days depending on the work load. Previous experience working in the Building Trade a distinct advantage. Previous experience using ABM (Advanced Business Manager) an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Location : York Road, Dunlaoghaire, Co Dublin

- Purchases Ledger, entering Purchases invoices on to Accounting System
- Entering Payments onto Accounting system.
- Matching Delivery Dockets to Purchases invoices.
- Sales Ledger entries
- Credit Control
- Recording weekly timesheets
- Knowledge of VAT and RCT a distinct advantage
