Senior Full Stack Developer

THE ROLE

Were creating a loved brand in Europe and this is where your story begins!

As our Senior full stack developer your responsibilities will include leading a team of fullstack developers and make daytoday decisions to ensure code quality and mission alignment within our software team. You will work closely with Product and Design teams to assess roadmap complexity and plan product improvements accordingly to Barkyns vision and on the technical side you will be responsible for implementing product improvements and new features on a modern node.js codebase and in shopify plus.

Specifically we expect you to:

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to build next level products;
• Lead a team of developers assuring the delivery of quality code and making daytoday decisions based on Product guidelines and requirements;
• Attend daily scrum sessions;
• Build unique products and experiences.

Mandatory:

• Graduated in Information Systems Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
• 4/5 years of professional experience Seniorlevel experience of at least 4 years of experience in:

• Frontend development:
• HTML Sass or other CSS preprocessors
• ShopifyPlus
• Shopify tooling/CL Theming
• Custom apps
• Backend development:
• Node.js
• mysql
• Kubernetes

• Knowledge of devops tools and CD pipelines;
• Passionate for technology and software development with solid knowledge on how to build an endtoend product
• Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and desire to write clean correct and efficient code.
• High quality verbal and written communication skills.
• Sense of ownership urgency and pride in your work.

Brownie Points:

• React/Next.js experience is a plus
• Experience working at a startup
• Dog owner.
