We are currently looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic and growing company. Your expertise in financial analysis attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities will be instrumental in supporting informed decisionmaking and driving our companys growth.
What your day will look like:
- Manage all aspects of the companys daytoday financial transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements and reports ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement efficient financial processes controls and procedures to streamline operations and improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow activities perform cash flow analysis and manage petty cash to ensure adequate funding for business operations.
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial reports analyzing variances and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to prepare accurate and realistic budget forecasts and track actual performance against budgeted targets.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Stay uptodate with accounting regulations standards and best practices to ensure compliance and implement appropriate changes when needed.
- Provide valuable insights and financial analysis to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.
Requirements
Check if you qualify:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate financial information effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations standards and best practices.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
