Our client is one of the prominent healthcare organizations in Asia, this leading provider of medical services is widely recognized for its patient-centric approach and commitment to quality care. With a strong presence across multiple countries, their modern infrastructure and experienced professionals enable the delivery of accessible and affordable healthcare to diverse communities


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. Execute efficient procurement processes to meet the hospital's needs while maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and vendors. Review agreements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the hospital's policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering partnerships to secure favorable terms, resolve issues promptly, and stay updated on industry trends and product advancements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track usage patterns, and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Ensure that purchased medical supplies meet regulatory and quality standards. Collaborate with relevant departments to address any quality concerns or product recalls promptly.
  • Work within allocated budgets, analyze spending patterns and recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications. Generate reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (Preferred: Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management)
  • Proven experience within 2-3 years in medical or healthcare procurement, with a strong understanding of medical supply chains and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards.
