The position

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to provide financial human resources and administrative services As a key member of our team you will play a pivotal role in driving our continued success ensuring financial stability and fostering a positive work environment



Your mission

Based on the directives given by the French Financial Department the aim is to coordinate and participate in the accounting and HR activities

  • Ensure the proper maintenance of Metrologic Groups accounting (control of customersupplier accounts cash flow taxes etc) in compliance with current accounting and tax standards
    • Manage all daily accounting transactions including
    • Manage sales invoicing
    • Manage process payments AP & AR
    • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
    • Manage insurance files
  • Establish monthly accounting closing and prepare reporting for Metrologic Group
  • Provide to the external accountant all the information needed to prepare the annual tax returns
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits provide required information and answer auditors questions
  • Calculate and process biweekly payroll
  • Employee expense approval and entries
  • Submit timely monthly reporting
  • Manage company benefits Medical Dental K Life Insurance
  • Coordinate with our headquarters in France to prepare monthly and annual closing
  • Implement internal control systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information ensure that accounting procedures comply with the groups internal standards and policies
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires completion and processing of required paperwork
  • Assist global HR on recruiting efforts as needed
  • Maintain confidential employee records maintain electronic files

This position is for you if

For this position we are looking for a selfstarter with an accounting background and familiar with Human Resources principles The ideal candidate is familiar with ERP and in particular Navision

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • years of accounting background
  • HR experience is preferred


Education and Experience

  • Accounting degree or minimum years experience in an accounting related field years preferred
  • Reporting within a group in an international environment
  • Master the advanced features of Excel
  • Previous experience in Human Resources is a plus but not required Must be willing to learn

  • Ability to provide a high level of confidentiality
  • Organizational capacity and prioritization in a demanding context
  • Ability to be a sponsor of the companys orientations and to support change
  • Ability to demonstrate rigor and work in compliance with legislation procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to interact with different teams to retrieve the necessary information
  • Ability to adapt ones speech according to the interlocutors and to ensure the confidentiality of information
  • Be a force for proposals to improve the groups accounting and financial processes
