Proofreader Specialist

This is onsite in irvine.

Monday to Friday (onsite all 5 days) standard office hours
Strict attention to detail
Print labels, comparing physical documents to digital format on computer.
Proofreading/editing background(preferred)
New grads accepted.
High volume of 2000 labels
Knowledge of standard procedures/ design procedures/guidelines.

Verify labeling against input documents and labeling artwork against master.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute labeling verification activities by proofreading labeling against input documents, master mark-up (e.g., redlines) and specification for implementation accuracy and formatting (e.g., layout and typeface) based on labeling process and procedures
Other incidental duties

Additional Skills:
Must pass annual visual acuity evaluation
Basic computer skills including usage of MS Office Suite
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
Basic knowledge and understanding of following processes and procedures
Ability to sustained focus on repetitive tasks
Ability to work efficiently within schedule deadlines
Strict attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Work is performed independently and reviewed for accuracy and soundness

Education and Experience:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
Experience with editing or proofreading preferred
Experience in medical/pharmaceutical FDA regulated industry preferred
0-2 years of experience required
