As the Commercial Director you will have end to end responsibility for company revenue including new business, expansions and You will lead a small team distributed across multiple time zones and take an active customer facing role in guiding and mentoring them towards commercial
To succeed in this role, you will have to develop intimate knowledge of our product, interact directly with customers and at the same time empower and mentor your ; An additional critical success factor will be your ability to collaborate with Support, Marketing and Product functions to ensure that the customer journey is truly delightful across all
IMPORTANT: The global nature of this role requires that you be flexible with your schedule in order to cover customer interaction across multiple time Being in South Africa, you will need to shift your working hours so that you have good coverage of US time
In this role, you will:
- Be in-charge of our major accounts, helping them realize maximum value from their investment in our product
- Be responsible for driving maximal net dollar retention Expanding accounts, eliminating churn and maximizing customer satisfaction
- Handle all incoming new business inquiries and work with prospects to turn them into happy customers
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- 5+ years of leadership in a senior Customer Experience/Success/Support role, in support of software products
- Strong commercial acumen
- A degree from a reputable university
- Experience in leading and driving customer facing initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Strong process/project management skills with the ability to think strategically and implement tactically
- Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment
- The ideal candidate is highly analytical and self-motivated with experience in maximizing the potential of their team through coaching and leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication to stakeholders
- Thrive on working from home in a 100% remote and multi-cultural environment
